Untuk menyatakan suatu kegiatan yang telah selesah dilaksanakan sekarang. Bentuk positif dan pertanyaan present perfect biasanya diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dengan ungkapan telah/sudah, bentuk negatifnya biasanya diterjemahkan dengan ungkapan belum.

Contoh:

We have already written our report ( we are not writing the report any more now)

Ratu has already read the entire book. (She is not reading it any more)
